Everyday People Doing Extraordinary Things
NOW IN PRODUCTION
NIGHT NURSE
Resilience, love, and light.
Some stories find you when you least expect them. Some people find their destiny. Others are found by it.
Night Nurse is an intimate documentary portrait of Kimberly McLaughlin-Smith — the woman behind the Reggae Redemption radio show — whose path to the microphone was forged through trials most would never speak of, and a resilience that transformed her pain into purpose. Over thirty years ago, she started a radio show that would become a weekly ministry of love, light, and oneness. What brought her there — and what kept her — is a story she's never fully told.
And what began as a documentary became something neither the subject nor the filmmaker expected.
Through intimate interviews with musicians, artists, and the elders who carry the spirit of Rastafari, the film takes audiences inside a culture rooted in spiritual truth, community, and the profound belief that music can heal what nothing else can reach — a music born from struggle and rooted in love, much like the woman at the center of this story.
One woman, one microphone, and a journey that goes deeper than reggae.

THEATRE FOR ALL-The Documentary Film
A feature documentary following Theatre for All — an inclusive theater company for adults with disabilities — as they create and stage their original production, First Day of Spring. From the first table read to opening night at Thalian Hall, this film goes behind the curtain to witness the months of rehearsal, friendship, and transformation that turn a group of performers into a company of artists.
Through intimate interviews with cast members, families, and the founders who built this community from the ground up, the film explores what happens when theater becomes more than performance — it becomes a place to belong.
